Affirmation Tour
Press Release
"Due to the illness of a key member of Beverley Knight's touring
band, her UK tour dates have had to be rescheduled to April 2005
(see below). The musician in question has been diagnosed with
glandular fever and is not expected to be able to return to work
for at least a fortnight. Unfortunately no time is available to
rehearse in a replacement before the scheduled start date of November
11th. We apologies for any inconvenience caused by this date change
- however, ALL TICKETS PURCHASED WILL BE VALID for the rescheduled
dates or refundable at point of purchase. Please note original
Edinburgh date has transferred to Glasgow due to lack of venue
availability.

Message from Beverley
"Hi Guys!
Just wanted to write to u to say sorry that we had to move our
dates ? believe me I?m as disappointed as u are that we can?t
get out there and do these shows right now! But one of the guys
came back from another tour with glandular fever and not only
did we have to cancel rehearsals but his doctor?s told him he
would flattened out for at least two weeks! We want to give u
guys the best show ever and to lose a key band member at that
late stage meant there was no way we could find a replacement
- for our joint MD, rehearse a 2 hour show and be up to speed
in less than a week! Hopefully he?ll be well enough to do a few
short sets with Bryan Adams in Europe in a few weeks? time. The
earliest we could reschedule the UK tour was April 05?but ?Soon
come and u know we?re gonna smash it - I just hope all or most
of you can still come and check us out then.
Meanwhile I?m keeping busy. I was going to do my bit and then
dash up to the Wolverhampton show from the Live Aid recording
on Sunday but I hung out there for a bit instead - it was very
special and inspiring ? looking forward to seeing what it sounds
like! I?ll also be doing a few more bits and pieces with Roni
Size for our song No More which is out in early January and of
course getting ready for next year?s release of Keep This Fire
Burning. A certain artist has added her brand nu flava to the
remix already (tell u later!) and I?ll be shooting the video before
Xmas.
I hope u guys understand about the dates ? its one of those things
but u know we?ll be heating things up in the Spring with our best
UK tour ever - so hang tight and thanks for your support as always!
